TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for your order!

VERY IMPORTANT:  Many of our products are made to order for you and therefore some special terms and conditions exist so please take the time to read carefully.

If you are not happy with any of the terms and conditions please contact us for a full refund within 14 days of placing your order.  After this time refunds will not be made.

1)    Order Confirmation (For orders placed at Graduation only) – PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER CAREFULLY. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT. Our crew do their very best to read handwriting during data entry but occasionally this can be misinterpreted.  We will e-mail your order confirmation to the address you supplied to us within 7 days of your event date.  If you do not receive an e-mail please check your spam/junk box or contact us. If you supplied a UK mobile number we will text you confirmation and log in details. Please check carefully the details of your order. 

2)      Order Changes (For orders placed at your graduation event) – You have 14 days from your event to make any order changes.  For engraved items this is 7 days.  After this time your order will enter our production system and changes cannot be made.

3)      Cooling Off Period (For orders placed at your graduation event) – You have 14 days from your event to cancel your order for a full refund.  For engraved items the cooling off period is 7 days. After this time your order will enter our production system and refunds will not be made.

4)       Delivery Time

For orders placed at graduation:
Please allow up to 28 working days from your event date. Please note that during peak graduation times demand can be very high and therefore delay in delivering goods is sometimes out of our control.  

For orders placed on our website:
Please note our delivery times displayed alongside the product of your choice.

IMPORTANT:
For orders placed on our website for Graduation Garments featuring names lists:
Orders placed prior to your event are despatched within 28 working days of your event. This is because the names lists are not finalised until just a few days before the event. Your card will be debited at the time you place the order as all garments are produced specifically to you for you.  If you are not happy with this please request a refund during the 14 day cooling off period.

Delivery shall be made to the delivery address supplied by you at the time of ordering. While we endeavour to deliver within the times specified, any times quoted for delivery are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the Products howsoever caused. Risk of damage to or loss of the Products shall pass to you at the time of delivery to the specified delivery address.  If you move address please let us know immediately so we can up date our records.  We do not accept liability if delivery is made to a specified address which you have subsequently moved from.

If your goods fail to arrive then you must contact us within 4 months of your order being placed (Except for graduation garments featuring names lists ordered prior to an event in which case it is 4 months from the event date) in order for us to replace or refund you.
 
After this period we deem that the goods have been delivered satisfactorily and no refunds or replacements can be made.

5)      Graduates Name on Garments
Please note it is your responsibility to check that the graduates name appears correctly on the garment when you place the order with us.  We have the facility to change a spelling or add a missing name but you must inform us within 14 days of the event.  You can check the name list on our website at any time.  Just select your institution/graduation garments/date & time and complete a name check.

6)      Garment Sizes and Colours –
It is your responsibility to ensure that you order the correct size/colour garment.  Whilst our sales crew will endeavour to assist you in your choice they are not responsible for your decision.  Since garments are made to order we cannot refund you if the size/colour ordered is found to be unsuitable.  We may be able to exchange provided there is stock remaining.

7)      Garment Front Logo/Design -
Whilst our aim is to maintain continuity of front logo design this is not always possible as the result of supply issues and production runs. Therefore we cannot guarantee that you will receive the same front logo print as seen on your graduation day.  You will either receive a garment which features your University logo OR one of our standard 'Campus Alumni' prints.  If you are not happy with this please request a refund within 14 days of your event date.

8)      Garment Substitution -
We are reliant on third party manufacturers for garments and as such continuity of supply to us is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to amend or change products styles without prior notice in order to deliver your product to you in the time frame stipulated.  If you are not happy with this please request a refund within 14 days of your event date.

9)      Engraving on Pens - 
Please note that engraving on the Stainless steel pens is extremely subtle.  Whilst many people like the discreet elegance of such engraving others prefer the engraving to be prominent.  If you would like the engraving to be prominent we recommend the black lacquer and gold pens.  You have 7 days to change your mind or request a refund.


TRACKING YOUR ORDER

For goods despatched in the UK to UK addresses:

Occasionally, there may be delays within Royal Mail postal system. Although delays are rare, please allow 15 days for your order to arrive, particularly during the peak periods around Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays. Unfortunately, we cannot start tracking parcels until this time has elapsed.

If you do not receive your goods within 15 working days you should 
contact us and we will be able to track your delivery via the Royal Mail & our couriers.

Please note, over 40% of lost parcels are often just waiting to be collected from a neighbour or a local Royal Mail sorting office, so please check there first. Compensation is limited to the cost of the goods ordered and will take the form of a replacement or a refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights. 
A signature may be required to acknowledge receipt of deliveries. The signature of the person accepting delivery will be proof of delivery.


Returns
We want you to be happy every time you shop with us, so we make our returns policy simple. We have a "no quibbles" guarantee for many of our products which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the item you have purchased just return it to us in its original condition within 30 days, and we will issue a full refund for the price of the item. However, since many of the items that we sell are personalised to you and produced specifically for you then there are certain exclusions. These are:

  • Pens, Pewter, Crystal that have been engraved with the student name and degree.
  • Champagne bearing the student name and degree
  • Graduation Garments

     Size and Colour

    The garment doesn’t fit can I exchange it for another size?

    We may be able to exchange provided there is stock remaining.  Please contact us and we will endeavour to do our best for you.  In our terms and conditions we made you aware that it was your responsibility to ensure that you order the correct size/colour garment.  Whilst our sales crew will always endeavour to assist you in your choice they are not responsible for your decision.  Regrettably we cannot refund you if the there is no stock remaining as garments are made to order.

    Garment Front Logo/Design

    The front design is different to what I saw at my graduation...

    We made you aware in your receipt that whilst our aim is to maintain continuity of front logo design this is not always possible as the result of supply issues and production runs. Therefore we couldn’t guarantee that you would receive the same front logo print as seen on your graduation day.  You were told that you would either receive a garment which features your University logo OR one of our standard 'Campus Alumni' prints.   We told you that if you were not happy with this to please request a refund within 14 days of your event date.

    We will also be happy to refund the delivery charge if the return is a result of our error. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect. Refunds can not be made for services such as gift wrapping.

    In the event that Campus Clothing sends you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the original within 30 days. Campus Clothing reserves the right to charge the price of replacement to the payment card used for the original order if that item is not returned within 30 days of the date on which Campus Clothing confirms the issue of a replacement.

Price Increases
Unfortunately, material and operating costs occasionally rise and hence it may be necessary to raise prices. In the unlikely event that this occurs after you have placed an order we shall check with you to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price. We may, at our discretion, absorb small price increases without passing them on to our customers. 

Complaints
If you have any grievances about the service you have received from Campus Clothing, we want to hear from you so we can review the matter and to help us improve our service. Please e-mail or write to us and we shall consider your comments carefully and seek appropriate rectification.

Your Statutory Rights
Cooling-off Period
At Campus Clothing we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our 30-days returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item. Certain exclusions apply and these are as detailed above.

By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item was delivered. This applies to all our products except those specifically excluded.

To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please fill out the delivery slip that accompanies your items giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation". Please package the relevant item/s securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a Recorded or International Signed For delivery service if the value of the return is more than £50.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive back from you the item with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.

You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us (e.g: gift wrapping).

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of order we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge.
